MRD-60
AM/FM/CD STEREO
The
Poly-Planar MRD 60 stereo system is the first sound system specifically
designed for the Marine Industry. It is the most versatile, feature-rich
system in marine market. The front panel of the stereo is waterproof
and does not require an additional cover when mounting the
system above deck. The front panel folds down for easy CD loading,
and then, when closed, a silicon rubber gasket keeps t he unit
tightly sealed. A bright electro-luminescent LCD display is
easily visible both at night and in direct sunlight.
The
system has an integrated 4 channel amplifier that produces
up to 45 watts per channel for a total system power of 180
watts. The amplifier has a distortion limiting feature that
illuminates ½ clipping ² at
maximum gain and provides high quality sound even at full volume.
A unique Audio Port allows the addition of features such as
hard wired remote controls with intercom, pre amp outputs for
amplifiers (variable and fixed) plus auxiliary inputs for such
sound sources as a VHF radio or a TV set.
The system may be controlled from the front panel, or by using
an optional full function wireless remote that is waterproof
and floats. The stereo system contains an integrated CD Changer
Controller so the optional MRD6 CD Changer may be added at any
time. |
MCD-6
Compact Disk Changer
All
electronics are coated to protect this from the harsh marine
environment. Adjustable mounting position allows perfect
placement to meet your needs. The CD mechanism is shock resistant
to keep playing while crashing through the waves. The MCD6
Compact Disc changer allows you to listen to six of your
favorite CD's without interruption.
The MCD-6 works with
Poly-Planar's MRD-60 and MRC50 waterproof marine stereos
and can be controlled with either the receiver or one of
Poly-Planar's remote controls. |
MRD-70 AM/FM/CD/MP3 Multi-Zone Component System
The MRD-70 AM/FM/CD Receiver and RD-44 Display
are the base foundation for an expandable multi-zone system that offers independent
control in up to 4 zones equipped with the RD-44 Remote Display and MZ-100
Amp in each zone. Easily connected through a single watertight DIN type cable,
each remote has independent control over the audio input source. The many
unique features include an intercom that will allow communication between
stations. Two auxiliary inputs on the receiver accommodate direct audio input
from other audio sources/media players. Just plug in your iPodŽ, TV or VCR
and you have great audio throughout the system. The unique mounting system
for the waterproof display accommodates Panel, Pod or bracket mounting.

RD-44 Remote Display
The RD-44 is designed to control the audio functions and sources of the MRD-70
marine radio and the MZ-100 DSP Zone Amplifier. With versatile mounting options,
the RD-44 can be installed up to 60 feet away from the radio or amplifier
in a variety of positions. In addition, the built-in intercom function allows
communication between the vessels audio zones.

WC-70 Weather Cover
Full enclosure protects
complete stereo from the marine environment. Gimbal bracket allows
easy mount in or under an electronics box on the dash at the helm station.
The system allows venting of the stereo amplifier heat sinks without
exposing the chassis so the unit will not overheat even though it is
protected from the exposure to the elements.

ME-400 Amplifier 400w 4-channel
The ME-400 Four Channel, marine grade amplifier provides 400
watts of crisp, clean audio power. The amplifier can be easily configured
to enhance your listening pleasure. Both crossover circuits and high
pass and low pass filters are fully adjustable so you can power your subwoofer
as well as your standard speakers. Gold plated connections resist corrosion.
Rubber mounting feet isolate vibration. Efficient heat sink design
ensures uninterrupted operation. Built from the ground up to withstand the

Wired Remote Control
Full function
wired remote control fits into a standard 2-1/8" gauge
cutout. In addition to full stereo control, it includes an intercom
microphone for broadcasting over the stereo system speakers. Package
includes a 10' cable. Multiple remote controls may be added to
a single system. The wireless remote requires that the stereo system
have a single optional I-MR-2 interface.

IMR2 Remote Interface Module
The remote interfase model connects two remote
keypads, MRR7 or intercom microphone MRR5 to your Marine Audio Center
with Expansion Port. A separate zone amplifier supports the intercom.
Up to four intercom mics can be connected using optional "Y" cables.

IMR4 Auxiliary Input/Output Interface Module
The IMR4 module connects a TV, VCR, CD player,
VHF radio, DVD or portable MP3 to your Marine Audio Center with Expansion
Port. It provides output for an external subwoofer or loudspeakers,
and a separate audio zone with independent volume. Output for a headphone
connection is also available. External booster required.

The IC-3.5PM allows you to connect your MP3 player,
iPod? or satellite radio to any audio device with RCA inputs. It features
a waterproof panel/dash mount with rubber cover and a extension cable.
